Preschool Classes
Two-year-old program:
Two-tsy Pops
Our Two-tsy Pop class is a parent-participation “Grownup and Me” class for children who turn two by August 31st. The class is from 8:45 to 11:00, and children and their parent (or aunt, or grandpa, or nanny, etc.) attend class one day per week. Class options are Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays.
Class time entails social development, gross motor play, story and song time, arts and crafts, music and movement, bathroom and snack time, parties, birthday celebrations, and so much more.
Class size: 1 teacher to 6 students (and their Grownup)

Three-year-old programs:
Gumdrops &
Gummi Bears
- The Gumdrop and Gummi Bear classes are for children who turn three by August 31st. The ratio is 1 teacher to 8 students per classroom.
- Our comprehensive curriculum is thoughtfully designed to engage children in art, play, movement, and music, while also introducing them to uppercase letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and basic signing.
- Fine motor development with cutting, coloring, painting, working with playdough, and manipulating all kinds of tools and toys.
- Socialization (emphasizing fun), including following directions, and being kind.
- Monthly events and celebrations.

Four-year-old programs:
Smarties, Gumballs, & Lollipops
- The Smarties, Gumball, and Lollipop classes are for children who turn four by August 31st. The ratio is 1 teacher to 10 students per classroom.
- The curriculum includes art, play, music, and movement. Students also learn uppercase and lowercase letter recognition, penmanship writing lessons, and, by mid-year, combining letters and sounds to begin forming words.
- Numbers and counting lead to simple math, as well as shapes, sign language, cutting, coloring, and painting.
- Socialization includes learning to interact with kindness and consideration of others, following directions, and being comfortable speaking and sharing with others in a small group setting.
- Wednesday Science program
- Field Trips
- Monthly events and celebrations.

Older Four and Five-year-old Program:
Jellybeans
The Jellybean class is for children who turn five by December 31st and/or have previous preschool experience or for children already five-years-old, but not ready for kindergarten and the ratio is 1 teacher to 12 students per classroom.
The Jellybeans mirror our four-year-old program but include beginning reading, handwriting, and more intermediate math lessons, as well as a study of countries around the world.

Fifth-day Fridays
Fifth-day Fridays is for Pre-K students only and is a special one-day-a-week class full of activities centered around a special theme of the month. Class time will include music and movement, dramatic play, math and literacy learning activities, cooking, special guests, and more. Fifth-day Fridays can be taken alone or added to any schedule—2-day, 3-day, or 4-day classes.
Class size: 1 teacher to 12 students

Lunch & Learn
Lunch & Learn is a relaxed, supervised time for children to enjoy lunch (they bring from home) while:
• Building friendships and practicing the social side of eating with peers and other caring adults.
• Learning good table manners and how to tidy up after themselves.
• Becoming more independent with tasks like opening their own food packaging.
Pre-K students will begin to practice “lunch like kindergarteners,” learning the rules and routines, building independence, and getting used to the lunchtime pace at elementary school.
Lunch & Learn is also for families who need or want an extended preschool day.
• AM students: from the end of class until 12:20 pm
• PM students: 11:20 am until the start of class
- Offered Mon- Tues- Wed- Thurs-Fri ( choose from 1 to 5 days per week)

Science Program
A special science class is provided to children in our Pre-K program. We have a designated instructor who oversees our science program. This class involves hands-on learning centered around various themes incorporating plant and animal life systems, math, seasonal changes, and hands-on experimentation.
